第八辑 把心带回家 Volume 8: Bringing the Mind Home


当你继续修行(禅修)的时候,你也许会有各种各样的经验,包括好的和坏的。
As you continue to practice (meditation), you may have all kinds of experiences, both good and bad.

继续禅修的时候最明显的就是梦中,随着你禅修的增加,你做梦的时候会出现很多境界。
As you continue to practice meditation, the most noticeable aspect is during dreams. As your meditation practice deepens, you will encounter various states in your dreams.

正如同有许多门窗的房间允许空气从四面八方吹进来,同样的,当你的心开放的时候,自然会有各种各样的经验进到心中来。
Just as a room with many doors and windows allows the air to enter from many directions, in the same way, when your mind becomes open, it is natural that all kinds of experiences can come in it.

你也许会经验到喜悦、清明或无思无念的境界,从某个角度来说,这些都是非常好的经验,这也是禅修进步的象征。因为当你经验到喜悦时,这是欲望暂时消除的表征;
You might experience states of bliss, clarity, or absence of thoughts. In one way, these are very good experiences and signs of progress in meditation, for when you experience bliss, it's a sign that desire has temporarily dissolved.

你贪欲暂时消除了,心中感到愉悦。
As your desire temporarily disappears, you are glad.

当你经验到真正的清明的时候,这是侵扰已经暂时停止的表征;
When you experience real clarity, it's a sign that aggression has temporarily ceased.

情绪和杂念暂时停止的表征就是清明——清净的,心中很明亮、光明。
The sign that emotions and distractions have temporarily stopped is clarity — the mind is clear, bright, and luminous.

当你经验到无思无念的境界时,这是无明已经暂时消失的表征。
When you experience a state of absence of thought, it's a sign that your ignorance has temporarily died.

无思无念,但这是一个岔路。
Being absent of thought, however, is a deviation from the path.

它们本身是好的经验,但如果你执著它们,就会变成障碍。
By themselves, they are good experiences, but if you get attached to them, they become obstacles.

这些境界其实是一种障碍,这是禅修过程当中的一些经验,这些经验并不是证悟,也不是开智慧,只不过是禅定过程当中的一些表征或者特征。
These states are actually obstacles; they are experiences that arise during meditation. However, these experiences are not enlightenment or the awakening of wisdom; they are merely some signs or characteristics of the meditative process.

经验还不是觉悟,
Experiences are not realization in themselves;

这里说得很清楚,这些经验都不是觉悟,
As clearly stated here, these experiences are not realization.

但如果我们一直都不执著,它们就会真正发挥其功能,变成觉悟的材料。
but if you remain free of attachment to them, they become what they really are, that is, materials for realization.

就是觉悟的一种条件:经历这三个方面(喜悦、清明和无思无念)。
That is, a condition for realization: going through these three aspects (bliss, clarity, and absence of thought).

负面的经验往往最容易误导人,因为我们总是把它们当作坏的象征。
Negative experiences are often the most misleading because we usually take them as a bad sign.

负面的经验其实也不一定是坏事。
Negative experiences may not necessarily be bad things.

事实上,在我们修行中的负面经验却是伪装的福报。
In fact, the negative experiences in our practice are blessings in disguise.

你看,这是相反的,“负面经验却是伪装的福报”,表面看上去是坏的,事实上它是一种福报。
Look, this is contrary, "Negative experiences are blessings in disguise." On the surface, they may appear bad; but in reality, they are a form of blessings.

试着不要去厌恶这种负面的经验,反过来却要了解它们的真实面目,它们只是经验而已,如梦幻泡影。
Try not to react to these negative experiences with aversion as you might normally do, but recognize them instead for what they truly are, merely experiences, illusory and dreamlike.

这些经验,打比方你修行的时候梦里面做一些噩梦,或者白天会出现一些考验,还有禅定当中会出现一些你认为不好的经验,可能会给你带来一些恐惧或者低落的情绪之类的,其实这些都是业习的一种显现;
These experiences, such as having nightmares on your spiritual journey, facing challenges during the daytime, or encountering seemingly negative experiences during meditation that may trigger fear or low mood — are actually manifestations of karmic habits.

甚至当你深入修进去的时候,无量劫来的业习种子可能会翻出来。
As you delve deeper into your practice, seeds of karmic habits accumulated over countless eons may even surge.

所以,负面的经验也是一种觉悟的材料,帮助我们觉悟的一些经验。就像过关,经历了这些负面的经验以后你的心不动,不被它所迷惑,不会产生负面的情绪——负面的经验没有产生负面的情绪,就变成正面的了。
Therefore, negative experiences are also materials for realization; they are experiences that help us attain spiritual awakening. It's like passing a test: after going through a negative experience, if your mind remains undisturbed and unaffected by it, without generating negative emotions — when a negative experience fails to trigger negative emotions, it becomes a positive experience.

体悟经验的真实本质可以让你免除经验本身造成的伤害或危险,这样一来,即使是负面的经验,也可以变成大福报和成就的来源。
The realization of the true nature of the experience liberates you from the harm or danger of the experience itself, and as a result even a negative experience can become a source of great blessing and accomplishment.

经验来了的时候,你要看透它的本质(无自性、如梦如幻),这样的话,你就不会被它所迷惑。
When experiences arise, you should see through their nature: devoid of inherent nature, illusory, and dreamlike. In this way, you won't be deceived by them.

只有超越这些经验以后,你才有可能成就。
Only by transcending these experiences can you possibly attain enlightenment.
